Cancer Glossary Added

The site is still being updated as information is brought over from the former site. There will still be some updates, perhaps into next week, but the majority is complete.

In addition to listing various types of cancer on the new site, which was available on the former site, I’ve added the Cancer Glossary as well. You can use this a reference for over 4,000 terms related to cancer and medicine.

Thank you for your patience while the new site is getting up to speed. Again, we are looking for authors… Please click here if you are interested.

New Site Update

If you’ve visited the site in the past, you’ll notice many changes, including an entirely new look and feel. Also, the format has changed from a multi-user blog format, where people created and maintained their own individual blogs, to a single-user installation with multiple authors. There is still a lot of information that needs to be copied over from the former site, so look for that over the next few days. Hopefully, the lists of cancer types and definitions will be finished over the next week. So far; however, the new site is up, the theme has been customized, plugins installed, and modifications are continuously being made as we go. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Site Redesign

Due to large amounts of splogs (spam blogs) created, it became impossible to moderate eCancerAwareness as a multi-user blog provider. Unfortunately, the amount of space and damage created by the splogs has caused irreperable harm to the database and eCancerAwareness.com will need to be relaunched in a new form.

If you had a legitmate cancer-related blog on eCancerAwareness.com, I invite you back as an author of the new [single-user] blog. The new blog will have a complete new look, be more up-to-date and have many more features. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused, but it will be for the best in the end as all splogs and spam will be removed completely.
